Hi, it's me, Mike Clary.

Welcome to the magic, hauntings, short stories and tall tales in my corner of the world.

I write books, short stories, stage and screen, from fantastical realism to lively modernism, and goosebump horror. Looking for development opportunities, production partners and representation. Titles and samples here tell more.

My story...

Calling New York City and Western Massachusetts home, I've lived different places in the world and States, seen the Emerald Buddha, the catacombs of Paris, St. Elmo's fire and many somethings else again, raised merry hell, walked into train wrecks, strayed out of my lane, and split a ton of infinitives.

All along I write fiction, nonfiction, copy at major ad agencies, for big brands, have helped launch high-tech and biotech successes, cut trailers for Hollywood hits, brought theater companies to life and Shakespeare to stage.

In between times, I bike, run, swim long distances, grow lush gardens and look for beauty, loving moments, hale company and jiggy music to ward off the ghosts traveling on New England winds,

Then I turn it into stories.

My resume lays out details.
